At Ferguson, we are committed to creating innovative solutions to help provide and protect water. As the exclusive residential distributor of Greyter Water Systems in North America, we offer advanced water recycling systems for residential and commercial buildings. These systems capture and treat water from showers, tubs, stormwater and rainwater for non-potable uses like toilet flushing, reducing indoor water consumption and operational costs.
“Greyter’s innovative greywater reuse technology enables builders to conserve water and construct more sustainable homes and buildings,” explained Amber Singleton, Business Development Manager at Ferguson. “Our partnership aligns with Ferguson’s commitment to expand our range of sustainable products and solutions, and help our customers achieve their sustainability goals.”
Ferguson and Greyter are supporting a newly constructed global headquarters with a Rainwater Harvesting System. As a high-occupancy commercial development, the company sought a solution to reduce potable water consumption by more than 50%, positively impact the health of the nearby Chesapeake Bay and support the company’s pursuit of LEED Platinum certification.
Greyter and Ferguson delivered a state-of-the-art system designed to capture and treat rainwater for non-potable reuse, supplying water for the building’s toilets. This initiative reduces operational costs, saves 1.55 million gallons of potable water annually and significantly lowers municipal water demand, reinforcing the company's commitment to environmental responsibility.
Ferguson Ventures, our corporate venture capital arm, invests in companies that help our customers build better. Our investment in Greyter is a strong example that delivers scalable, water reuse technology supporting sustainability and efficiency in both residential and commercial construction.
At Ferguson, we remain focused on expanding our sustainable product offerings and supporting customers in reaching their environmental goals. Together, we are building infrastructure that is efficient, adaptable and resilient for generations to come.
