The top spot in Supply House Times’ (the leading US industry trade publication) Premier 150 companies, has been awarded to Ferguson, a position it has occupied since 2002.
Companies are ranked by sales volume within broad categories. The information obtained is primarily based on responses to questionnaires that are sent to wholesalers, supplemented with information obtained from industry reports and estimates.
Ferguson was ranked number one in both the ‘plumbing & hydronics’ and ‘pipes, valves & fittings’ segments and number two in the HVACR segment behind Watsco.
Commenting on this achievement John Stegeman, Ferguson CEO said, “This award recognises the fact that Ferguson continues to lead the way in our industry, and has done so since 2002, it is a testament to the leadership, drive and enthusiasm of our associates.”
Home Depot Supply (formerly Hughes Supply) has competed neck and neck for the top spot with Ferguson for the past few years - this year they came second.
